Are you counting down the days until the first kick for Brazil 2014? If you are, you’re not alone. FIFA, in what might be called a boondoggle if their work wasn’t so vital (man, those guys have great jobs), is travelling around the country of Brazil, in an effort to ensure that progress on the venue cities is on track. The last leg of FIFA’s Host City tours will take FIFA Secretary General Jérôme Valcke, Bebeto and a newly svelte Ronaldo (did you see his Gangnam Style video on YouTube, hilarious), Members of the Board of Administration of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and Brazil’s Sports Minister Aldo Rebelo to Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and São Paulo.
The tour started in Rio de Janeiro, of course. The delegation will visit the world famous Maracanã, which will stage the Finals of the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 and the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.
