Brazil’s Selecão’s colors may be yellow, green, and blue, but when it comes to economic boost to the Brazilian economy this summer, only one color will matter: Gold! When Brazil hosts the World Cup later this year, it will be like having the Super Bowl every day for an entire month. Eight giant companies are paying Brazil’s dominant TV network Globo a total of $600 million for a TV presence around the soccer games and related coverage. So, if Brazil loses, they still win.
